AI workflow editing

Describe workflow changes in natural language and let the AI assistant update steps on the canvas — then save from the toolbar when the flow looks right.

The workflow editor now includes an AI assistant for building and refining maintenance flows.

What’s new

  • AI Editor panel in the workflow diagram view — chat on the right, canvas on the left
  • Natural-language changes — add steps, branches, form capture nodes, and instructions by describing what you want
  • Canvas updates immediately — AI proposals apply to the draft; use Save in the toolbar to persist
  • Conversation history preserved per workflow in your browser session

Example prompts

  • “Add a safety check step before the filter replacement.”
  • “Branch on pass/fail after the visual inspection form.”
  • “Include a photo capture step and a closing summary for the technician.”

Who it’s for

Workflow authors who know the maintenance process but don’t want to wire every node by hand.

Teams iterating quickly on field procedures as equipment or compliance requirements change.

Getting started

  1. Open Admin → Workflows and edit an existing workflow (or create one).
  2. Open the AI Editor sidebar and describe the flow you want.
  3. Review the updated canvas, refine with follow-up messages, then Save.

Optional: customize AI behavior under Admin → Organization → AI settings.
